Max M. Gatyas

I am currently Assistant Teaching Professor of Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. At UWS, I am responsible for designing, implementing, and teaching the curriculum for the philosophy minor. We offer a variety of classes, including Environmental Ethics, Philosophy of Psychiatry, Buddhism and Mind, Philosophy and Film, Philosophy of Art, Existentialism, and others.
I recently finished my graduate work at the University of Cincinnati, where I completed a PhD in Philosophy and an MA in Experimental Psychology. I'm interested in moral psychology, ethics, and the philosophy of emotion.
